1. Agreement to Terms

By booking or using any services offered by The Dog Runner (“we,” “our,” or “us”), you (“you,” “client,” or “pet owner”) confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms of Service. These terms apply to all current and future services unless otherwise stated in writing.

2. Service Overview

The Dog Runner provides mobile dog fitness sessions using a professionally designed treadmill in a climate-controlled van. We specialize in physical activity for dogs in a safe, stimulating, and health-forward environment.

3. Eligibility & Dog Requirements

To participate, your dog must:

  • Be in generally good health and cleared by a veterinarian for light-to-moderate activity

  • Be up to date on vaccinations

  • Be free of aggressive behavior

  • Be under your legal ownership or responsibility

We reserve the right to decline or stop a session if we believe your dog’s health, behavior, or condition poses a risk to itself or others.

4. Booking & Payment

  • Sessions must be scheduled in advance through WhatsApp, email, or approved channels.

  • Full payment is required at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed.

  • Membership plans must be prepaid to access discounted rates.

We reserve the right to adjust pricing, but changes will always be communicated before your session is confirmed.

5. Cancellations & Refunds

  • Cancellations made 12 hours or more in advance are eligible for a full refund or credit.

  • Cancellations made within 12 hours of your session may incur a 50% fee.

  • No-shows or cancellations at the time of arrival are non-refundable.

  • We reserve the right to reschedule in case of vehicle maintenance, weather conditions, or emergencies.

6. Health & Safety Disclaimer

We take every precaution to ensure a safe experience for your dog, including:

  • Custom-designed treadmill equipment

  • Real-time biometric monitoring (via BioPaw™)

  • Temperature control via Canine Climate Control System (C3S)

  • Professional, trained handlers

However, The Dog Runner is not a veterinary service and does not diagnose or treat medical conditions. Exercise carries inherent risk. By using our services, you assume all responsibility for your dog’s health and release us from liability for any illness, injury, or condition that may occur unless caused by gross negligence.

7. Media Consent & Ownership

By booking a session with The Dog Runner, you irrevocably grant us full rights to photograph, film, and record your dog during their session.

You agree that:

  • We own all rights to any media we create, including photos, video, and audio.

  • We may use, edit, and distribute this media in any format (digital, print, video, web, etc.) for promotional, commercial, or educational purposes, without further notice or compensation.

  • Media may appear on our website, social media platforms, printed materials, or advertisements.

If you wish to opt out, you must email us at hello@dogrunner.org before your session begins. Without such notice, media rights are considered granted in full.

8. Privacy Policy Summary

We only collect personal information necessary to deliver our services and communicate with you. Your data is never sold or shared. Full privacy terms are available upon request or on our website.

9. Service Area

We currently operate in La Rioja and nearby areas in Monterrey, Nuevo León. If you are outside our zone, please contact us to confirm availability before booking.

10. Liability Waiver

By using our services, you agree to:

  • Assume all risks associated with your dog’s participation

  • Release The Dog Runner, its owners, and employees from liability for injuries, illness, or damages unless caused by proven gross negligence

  • Indemnify us against any claims, costs, or legal fees resulting from your dog’s actions or condition during the session

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Nuevo León, Mexico. Any legal disputes will be resolved in the appropriate courts located in Monterrey, N.L.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update or change these Terms of Service at any time. Updated terms will be posted at dogrunner.org/terms. Continued use of our services indicates acceptance of the latest version.
